Mustang 3M Headlight Lens Restoration Kit
3M Headlight Lens Restoration Kit.
The 3M headlight lens restoration kit is designed to restore clarityto headlight lenses that have become yellowed, cloudy, or hazed over time. By restoring clarity to the lens you improve the performance of the headlightand enhance the appearance of the vehicle. Headlight lenses have either a hard surface layer or a UV resistant coating on the outer surface of the lens. Once a lens has been degraded by sun or UV light and becomes yellowed or cloudy, it is necessary to remove that yellowed layer in order to restore clarity to the lens.
Requires a 1200-1600 rpm drill equipped with a backup pad and sanding disc to remove the yellowed layer from the headlight lens surface. A higher rpm drill couldgenerate excessive heat and can cause damage to the headlight lens thatis difficult to remove. A lower rpm drill does not work efficiently for this process.
Includes:
-Disc pad holder with 3M soft interface pad
-Buffing pad
-3M Trizact disc
-Six 3M sanding discs
-Four 3M finishing discs
-1oz of 3M headlight lens polish

Great Product
When i got my car the headlights were completely hazed over and were looking tough (2/10). Just followed the instructions and the looked like new! I recommend this product to anyone whose lights aren't as bright as they should be very very easy, just need a drill and some tape to mask of the surrounding area and your good to go.

I bought this kit to get rid of the haziness and scratches on my headlights. This was back in September of 2010. The kit made the headlights looks brand new and show car quality. It's been over a year, and the headlights still look great, without needing any touch up! Get this kit!
