Bought these headers for my '66 Coupe with a 302 and a 4 speed transmission. Out of the box the headers looked great. The directions are pretty good as well. On the passenger side the headers went in well from the bottom up. On the driver side the directions said to remove the Z bar to put them in. As it looked like we had lots of room we left the Z bar in and came in from the top. We also removed the back spark plug. After some wiggling this went in pretty well. After tightening down the headers I've found that on the passenger side they rub slightly on the shock tower. On the driver side they rub slightly on the Z bar. My "shock to shock" dimension is only 33 1/4, the directions reference a minimum of 33 3/4. I have ordered an export brace and Monte Carlo bar in an effort to get rid of the rub. This whole thing took an afternoon. Overall I am very happy with these headers, can't wait to fire the engine up.
