Hood Fiberglass With 1967 Shelby Style Hood Scoop 1965-1966 is rated out of 5 by 3.
Rated 4 out of 5 by Ridenhsw from Good Quality The hood fit well. It has one small low area, but you have to look close to see it. It did require some prep on the underside where the fiber and the frame came together. Overall I'm pleased with this hood...

Rated 1 out of 5 by CAStangeOwner from Poor Quality I have bought thousands of dollars worth of parts from CJ and have been happy. But I bought this hood a while back and returned it. Lots of waves in it. The hood I bought had no business being on a nice Mustang. Be prepared to do a lot of bodywork

Rated 5 out of 5 by fallen771 from Great look and little work I'm thinking a previous reviewer just got a bad hood. I have this same hood on my personal 64.5 model and it wasn't too bad of an install and prep. The hood is slightly smaller in width than the original but still mounts up pretty flush and looks good. The front of the hood near the nose/grille area was a little wider and had to be sanded down to keep even fender gaps but didn't even go through the gel coat. The hood itself was not wavy and took minimal work to get it ready for paint. Ended up being a pretty easy install and prep. Took only a few hours to get it mounted, aligned, then sanded/prepped for paint. Wouldn't hesitate to use it again. I have a full Fiberglass Specialties body kit on my car and have been very happy with everything. ALL FIBERGLASS PARTS NEED ADDITIONAL WORK TO FIT COMPARED TO STEEL. Know that going in. However, sometimes fiberglass just isn't molded right like in the case of the previous reviewer. Best thing is to check it out the day of delivery and make sure it's a good one before it's too late to possibly return. Mistakes in the molding does happen.
