Product Description

Classic Design Concepts Sequential Tail Light Kit for all 1996, 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003 and 2004 V6 and GT Mustangs, 2001 Mustang Bullitts and 2003-2004 Mach 1 Mustangs and SVT Cobras.

Sequential tail lights are one of the hottest and easiest modifications you can make to your 1996-2004 Mustang. Now is the perfect time to add the eye catching looks of sequential tail lights with this Sequential Tail Light Kit from Classic Design Concepts for all 1996, 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003 and 2004 Mustangs, except 1999-2001 SVT Cobras.

The kit comes with everything you need to convert your factory solid turn signals into sequential turn signals. Classic Design Concepts has developed their Sequential Tail Light Kit with a modified OEM harness which ensures a direct plug and play fitment, making installation as easy as possible without any cutting or splicing required. Just replace your stock wiring harness with Classic Design Concepts' modified OEM harness and enjoy your new Sequential Tail Lights!

Classic Design Concepts Sequential Tail Lights use Smart-Sequence, A new technology that makes your tail lights sequence ONLY when a turn signal is on.  Some States do not allow the brake lights to sequence, even one time.  With Smart-Sequence, when you hit the brakes, all lamps come on at once.

You can disable Smart-Sequence to make your brake lights sequence once each time you press the brake pedal.  To do this, simply just skip step #6 of the instructions or remove the phone cord that connects between the two sequential harnesses if already connected.  This will also allow the hazards to sequence each time the flasher clicks on.

*Will NOT fit 1999-2001 SVT Cobras.
*Does NOT include new light bulbs. Original bulbs can be used.

Please Note: This kit will also work on all 1994-1995 Mustangs equipped with 1996-1998 style tail lights.

Change-up the look of your Mustang with the huge selection of exterior lighting parts offered by CJ Pony Parts. With everything from Smoked Headlight Kits, to LED Taillight Kits, CJ Pony Parts has the hottest parts available for your Pony!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from they are cool but ! i gave them a two because i thought they would blink slower like the new models . Also i needed a pipe wrench to twist the new bulb fixtures in . and why did it come with only two bulbs ?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from excellent product just like the description says, only turnsignal sequential, no brake sequential or hazzard (or just dont install the phone cord and it will enable both of them)

Product Questions

Is there a way to slow the sequencing down? Tyhey do sequence , but, you have to watch intently. There must be a way.

Asked by: cudaboy
Sounds like you have a problem which is causing it to sequence at two times the normal speed. This can happen if you have one or more bulbs burned out (rear OR front) or you have installed LED bulbs or LED tail lights in your car. This can also happen if you have not wired a splice-in kit correctly, and the load on the circuit does not satisfy the load sensor.

Do you need the special flasher to make it blink slower or is it built in ?

Asked by: lastbreed
