Air Conditioner Condenser for all 1996, 1997 and 1998 Mustangs.
Is the air conditioning in your SN95 Mustang just not cool enough for you? Has your Mustang lost its ability to push out that cold air into the cabin of your Mustang? So if your answer is No for both those questions it might be time to replace your damaged or worn out condenser. This condenser is a direct replacement for all 1996-1998 Mustangs.
The Freon is pressurized in the condenser which begins to get hot and turns into a gas. This hot gas is then circulated through the air conditioner condenser that dissipates the heat. This Air Conditioner Condenser is located behind the front bumper and sits in front of the radiator, so that the coolest possible air can pass through and around it.

This optimum air flow will cool down the Freon in your air conditioning system, losing large amounts of heat and it becomes a liquid. After liquefaction in your Mustang's expansion valve, your air conditioner transmits this cold air into the interior of your 1996-1998 Mustang.
Unfortunately the location of the condenser frequently exposes it to potential damage and trauma. If your condenser is bent, broken, leaking or otherwise damaged, it will inhibit the process and impede the necessary steps for efficiently heating up and cooling down the air that will be blown into your SN95 Mustang.
In most parts of the United States, the climate required Ford to have both Mustang heating and air conditioning systems. Over the years, Mustang air conditioning became standard on most, then all models. Today, every car sold contains a Mustang air conditioner and every Mustang has always contained a heater.

Is this the revised air condenser with ~ 17 fins or the old stock with ~25 fins. Ford changed the air condenser with less fins in an upgrade
Is this condenser modeled after the 97-98 years with less fins per inch, or after the 96 with 25 fins per inch? My 1996 GT is overheating and I need to do the condenser cooling mod. If this is the better condenser, what other parts are needed?
