Product Description

Accelerator Cable for 1969 Mustangs with a V8 Engine.

The accelerator cable connects the accelerator pedal to the carburetor. A "sticky" throttle is most likely caused by a worn accelerator cable. Your engine is controlled by the driver via this cable so make sure it is in good condition. The cable measures 22.71" in length.

*Does NOT fit Boss 429 engine.

what size linkage "ball" piece screwed onto carb ? does this take?

This cable seems to be an inch or more too long. When I set the carb to be open 100% the gas pedal is still at least one inch off the floor when depressed all the way. Push any harder and the cable may What am I doing wrong or is there a shorter cable?
