Accelerator Cable With Manual Transmission 5.0L 1986-1993 is rated 1.0 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from terrible cable, waste of money I purchased this cable and waited nearly 3 weeks since it was on back order. when I finally got it installed it wouldn't open my throttle body all the way. the inner cable doesn't have enough travel. found a used cable and I'm back in business, except now I'm having to pay to ship this garage back to cj pony parts..thanks again for the quality parts.

the cable is ay shorter than mine, was it longer originally?

No - it's the same length as the OEM. Your original one probably stretched out so it seems longer, but it didn't start that way.
