Until now, this could cause a number of serious issues. But not anymore! Not only will this Billet Aluminum Accelerator Pedal Mount bring your gas pedal 1-1/2” closer to you, the built in adjustability will allow you to shift the left-to-right position of the pedal approximately 3/4”. Adjustments can easily be made in seconds by loosening the included hardware and simply sliding the pedal into your ideal position.

Accelerator Pedal Mount Spacer Adjustable 1-1/2" Focus ST 2013-2016/Focus RS 2016 is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 13.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from It's that one thing you're missing Just like in a relationship no matter how beautiful they are and no matter how well their personality matches yours, if that 'something' is missing you'll always know it in your gut. This spacer is that 'something' you've been missing. It has completely changed my transition from accelerator to brake and back again as well as quickened my brake, clutch and back on the gas transition at that sudden green light. I don't care what cold air intake you have, or exhaust on the hangers, this is that 'something' you've . 10 minutes to install if that.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works Great I've been driving around with this installed now for a few months and I love the new position. Moving my foot from the gas peddle to the brake and vice versa is so much better. When I'd go to track days I was constantly catching my foot on the side of the brake peddle and now that's not a problem. Gave it four stars only because I had the same problem as most everyone else has had with the bolts being to short. It's a bit ridiculous that these are still getting shipped out with bolts that are to short considering how long people have been complaining about it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Necessary mod for easy rev-matching. I purchased my Focus ST recently and the first thing I noticed is how terribly Ford spaced their accelerator and brake pedal. Coming from a BMW, I'm use to my pedals being on a fairly even plain, where the brakes begin to bite at level with the accelerator. This spacer puts the accelerator exactly where I prefer it making rev-matched downshifts a breeze. The quality of the product is good and the hardware included is suitable for the application. I don't imagine I'll have an issue with broken bolts and everything holds tight enough. The spacer is machined well and isn't an eyesore, as it hides well. Price is a little high considering it's a hunk of machined metal, but considering the competition, beggars cannot be choosers. Takes putting the pedal to the metal literally.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from High Quality Wins Out I'm not as young as I think sometimes, so it took me a bit longer than expected to get this item installed in my Focus RS. It wasn't that four bolts were so difficult, but they're in a awkward place in the car. All that said, my first reaction was less than enthusiastic - to accommodate the spacer I'd have to move my seat back a bit, making the clutch pedal a bit of a stretch. But as I soon surmised, it was mostly a matter of getting adjusted to the new pedal placements. Two weeks later, my assessment is much better. I am getting used to the new placement, and have also discovered that with a couple of extra inches underfoot, the pedal gets to the metal all that much quicker. Can't hardly argue with that :).

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great spacer, bolts too short for 2015 Installed yesterday and love it. I needed to get longer bolts for the pedal from the hardware store. I'm not sure if the 2015s gas pedal are thicker than previous years but the bolts that came with the spacer were not long enough.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from What a difference After installing this product I didn't think the spacer would make much of a difference but the car feels amazing. With the gas pedal being it should be , I didn't realize the adjustment I made when I started driving this car but it's well worth the time and price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works perfect in my 16 RS This was the first modifacation done on my RS, was struggling to get confortable with heel and toe down shifts, now it is an effortless motion well worth the money, now I just need to find one for my Wife's Fiesta ST, the ST pedal heights are worse than the RS was.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great simple mod Really great, well made spacer. It can be adjusted side to side, but not front and back. Regardless, this is the position that should have come from the factory. Installing didn't take long but wasn't the easiest reach.

Unfortunately I cannot accurately answer your question. Without the vendor supplying any information regarding fitment for non-US Spec cars and CJ's not having a car to test parts on, we cannot confirm this part working on your vehicle at this time.

Accelerator Pedal Mount Spacer Adjustable 1-1/2" Focus ST 2013-2016/Focus RS 2016 Video Transcript
By Bill Tumas: The Focus ST is arguably one of the best performance values on the market right now. Excellent acceleration, killer brakes, and killer suspension right from the factory at a very reasonable price makes it a very attractive little car. You actually have to knit pick to find anything wrong with the Focus, but one thing that comes a lot is the location of the gas pedal.

If you've ever driven one of these cars the gas pedal is actually very, very low to the floor, much lower than the plane where the clutch and the brake are. This creates an issue with some drivers where they catch the brake when they're going for the gas pedal. If you're not a performance heel and toe driving it's almost impossible to do on the Focus. If either of these is an issue for you and your Focus ST, I think we have a solution. This billet aluminum gas pedal spacer. We're going to show you how to install it using our 2015 Focus ST.

Thanks to this electronic throttle moving the gas pedal on the Focus is no big deal, because there's no cable attached to it, it's simply a plug and play. All you're going to do is unbolt yours from the floor. This is actually going to bolt in place right in here and here using the factory hardware. Then you're going to bolt the gas pedal to the billet spacer using this hardware here. That's going to get it much on closer to the plane where the clutch and brake are. In addition to spacing the pedal out from the floor making it easy with the clutch and brake, once you bolt it to this it's actually adjustable side-to-side as well. You can really dial on location on where you want your gas pedal.

For this installation you need a 1/4" ratchet, 10mm Socket, and a couple extensions.

The spacer is relatively easy to install, but it's going to be kind of hard to see since it's under the dashboard. What you're going to do, they'll be two bolts that will mimic these that are on the factory gas pedal. Once you remove the gas pedal this is going to bolt down in the factory location. The factory hardware will go in these two locations here. Then what you're going to do is remove these two nuts, and the gas pedal will bolt to these, and then you tighten them down, and adjust it side-to-side. Obviously, don't forget once you've done the whole installation make sure you plug the gas pedal back in.

We'll start by taking off the lower bolt on the gas pedal. Then we'll remove the upper. Pull the pedal down and unplug it. We'll show you again outside the car, so you can really see what this is going to do once it's matted. Again, these two holes for your factory location, and then this will now bolt to the two studs, it's all supplied nuts. All you've got to do is actually slide this side-to-side, and get it exactly where you want it in the car before you tighten it down. We're going to hang it on the studs, and then reinstall the factory hardware.

Get them both installed in place and tighten them up. Now I'll remove the retaining nuts from the studs, so we can install the original pedal. Now I'll mount the pedal on those studs, it's not a bad idea to plug it in first if you're there. These studs you just want to get hand tight, and then we can adjust the pedal. Here you can see the amount of adjustment you have, it's all the way over, put it all the way over there as well. We kind of set it up right over here. Once you get it where you want it tighten it down, and you're installation's finished.

At first it appears sort of low, when you look at it the gas pedal is in the perfect spot right now. It's right in an even plane with the brake. It's great for normal driving, or those track days you want to be able to use both at the same time.

It's a very simple installation, and it should make a noticeable difference if you drive your car a lot. The gas pedal spacer is one of the small parts that you probably wonder why you need it.

Once you get it you're going to wonder how you ever lived without it. It really makes the gas pedal that much nicer, and really puts it in a much better location, making it a fun car to drive that much more enjoyable. The installation's pretty straight forward. It'll take you around a half an hour, and you'll be back on the road in no time.
