Product Description

Addco 3/4" Rear Sway Bar Kit for all 1965-1966 Mustangs.

Are you ready to add some performance and stability to your 1965-1966 Mustang? This rear sway bar from Addco features a diameter of 3/4" which will increase the stability and overall handling, while decreasing the body roll. This bolt in sway bar from Addco will work on all 1965-1966 Mustangs with an 8" rear end.

This rear sway bar is constructed from the high quality high carbon steel, hardened and stress relieved. This sway bar is a great addition to any Mustang owner that wants to add some performance to their 1965-1966 Mustang. The sway bar features a black painted finish which gives it that factory look but still has that aftermarket feel.

Features:
- 3/4" Diameter for Modern Handling
- High Carbon Steel
- Black Painted Finish
- Bolt in Installation

Kit Includes:
- Black Painted 3/4" Rear Sway Bar
- 12 Gauge Die-Formed Sway Bar Brackets
- Thermoset Urethane Bushings
- Mounting Hardware
- Install Instructions

Please Note: This is not a replacement sway bar. This sway bar can be used in addition to the factory sway bar.

As you drive your Mustang, especially if it is one of the earlier models, body roll can be an issue. While it was equipped with a sway bar that helps reduce body roll, there are better products on the market than the factory sway bar. Addco offers a line of those products, with sway bars for 1964-2004 Mustangs, and some of the highest quality products on the market.

Addco Sway Bar Kit Rear 3/4" 1965-1966 is rated 3.6667 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ideal kit Just got finished installing this kit & took 2 1/2 hrs. to do because i had to cut a slot in the frame to put the U bolts thru for the bushing bracket seeing how my frame was boxed. All in all it's good for the money & improvement on handling. I already had the front sway bar & handles much better now !

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Tight Feeling Followed the directions on this page for installation and everything worked perfectly. The car has a nice tight feeling all around (installed the matching Addco front sway bar) and the 50 year old car handles beautifully.

Does a rear sway bar for a 65 Mustang also fit a 65 Falcon?

Asked by: lumpy57804
Unsure. Unless our product page specifically notes Falcon fitment, we haven't tested this product on a Falcon, so we can't say whether it will or won't fit.
