Product Description

Anderson Ford Motorsports Power Pipe Cold Air Intake Kit for 1996-2004 GT Mustangs and 1996-2001 Cobra Mustangs with a Vortech or Paxton Supercharger.

Anderson POWER PIPES were developed because of the need for a supercharger intake pipe that would flow at a higher rate of CFM, with a larger volume of air, brought on by the demand that Vortech and Paxton superchargers have when making 10 lb of boost or more. Performance improvements with this innovative design have been fantastic!

The AFM Power Pipe, with its all mandrel bent construction, is the highest flowing inlet pipe available for centrifugal superchargers. AFM also located the mass air in the inner fender-well for a cooler intake charge. The result is more boost and more power without needing to spin the blower faster.

This Power Pipe flows 1200+ cfm at 20.4" of water, as tested on AFM's Super Flow 1200 flow bench. Additionally, Anderson has seen an 8 rwhp improvement on the AFM dyno with no other besides the Anderson Power Pipe using the stock Vortech pulleys. With smaller pulleys, AFM has seen increases of one to three pounds of boost over the standard Vortech inlet pipe.

By Bill Tumas: We're here with an AFM Power Pipe for your 1996 through 2004 V8 Mustang equipped with a Vortech or Paxton supercharger. This mandrel bent power pipe is going to provide superior flow over the factory dryer duct tubing found in your 1996 through 2004 of the Vortech or Paxton supercharger. It's going to get more air from the mass air meter to the blower. It's going to increase horsepower. The Power Pipe may require minor trimming of both your fender well and your hood for proper installation. Due to the increase in boost of one to two pounds typically seen with the Power Pipe, we do suggest having your car retuned when installing one.
