My Ford Racing M-7003-Z reverse light switch has a normally closed contact. I need the switch to be normally open, and close when the transmission is put in reverse. Does this switch have normally open contacts?

Asked by: HotRodKenny
Unsure about the contact status - we don't have that kind of data available to us from the manufacturer. It will work with a T5, so it's likely the same style you need for a M7003Z T5.

I need the bushing under the shifter fork ...the one that activates the reverse light switch...appears to have been poly or plastic..it rides on the shifter rail inside the shifter fork of the 1986 cobra mustang 4 speed..

I'm a little vague on what you're looking for, but it would most likely be found in this category on our site: http://www.cjponyparts.com/mustang-transmission/c/60190000/

I installed a Tremec 5 spd in a Chevy Nova. The back up switch has 2 posts where the old Saginaw had 1 terminal. I assume the single wire from the original harness goes to one terminal. What gets wired to rhe second terminal?
