Barton Industries Shift Knob and Adapter for 2011-2014 V6 and GT Mustangs.

Available in your choice of black or white, Barton's round shifter knob features Mustang's 6-speed shift pattern imprinted on the top and comes with a chrome plated adapter. This shift knob will fit stock shifters as well as Barton's Short Throw shifters.

*Barton's shift knob only fits cars that originally came with the leather wrapped shift knob; it will not fit the shift boot from the optional interior upgrade with billet shift knob or the Boss 302.

I WANTED THE BOSS 302/PREMIUM GT LOOKING BALL LIKE SHIFTER BUT DIDNT WANT TO TEAR UP THE CONSOLE OR CUPHOLDERS REPLACING THE BOOT...THIS PRODUCT DID NOT REQUIRE YOU TO DO THAT AT ALL!IT IS HIGH QUALITY AND LOOKS BETTER THAN STOCK! TOOK LONGER TO OPEN THE BOX THAN IT DID TO INSTALL It,3 min ..I WOULD OF PAID DOUBLE..EXACTLY WHAT I WANTED..

Installed the white Barton shift knob on my '13 GT and it looks and feels great. The knob sits a bit higher than the stock knob which extends the throw of my short throw shifter (not Barton which I should have bought)just a bit. I really like the feel better than the stock knob and the old school look of the white knob is great!

OK - I never write reviews, but here's the scoop on this thing... You're spending $65 for a threaded resin ball and a metal adapter. There may be more to the manufacturing process than I realize, but the price is a little hard to swallow. However, my advice is to just Get It. First, it looks so much better than the stock shift knob that it's almost a must-have for appearances alone. Once you take the old, spongy, rubber/plastic knob off, you'll immediately know you made the right move. Installation took all of two minutes and everything fit perfectly. Second, it feels great in your hand and really gives you the necessary leverage to bang through the gears without any of the hang-ups that you may have read about about or seen the You Tube critics complain about. Truth be known, before installing this product, I had a bitch of a time consistently snapping through the gears without blowing a shift on my brand new 2013. Totally embarrassing and I've been driving manual transmission cars for 30 years. I was waitin
