This conversion bar provides you with a more secure way to mount your battery. It can be easily attached to the battery tray and enables you to use the 67-70 bridge style clamp (BTC3K).

Battery Tray Conversion Bar for 64-66 Mustangs
I purchased this conversion bar since finding a new 24F battery with the molded in side foot is impossible. Instead of replacing my very nice battery tray, I installed this conversion bar and the battery Hold Down Kit (BTC3K) for much less. The battery installation now looks like the battery installation in a 67-70 Mustang but since my car is used for cruise nights, local car shows, & Sunday drives I didn't care that the installation isn't concours perfect. This is a great part and you really don't want the battery just sitting loose on the battery tray.
