BBK has utilized CNC mandrel bent aluminized tubing to manufacture this 2-1/2” diameter H-Pipe. This was done in an effort to positively increase horsepower, sound and exhaust flow. This is a direct replacement h-pipe for 1979-1993 Mustangs with a 5.0L engine.
Some of the many benefits of this BBK H-Pipe are OEM original O2 sensor locations and factory style die-stamped flanges to guarantee perfect fitment. You also have the peace of mind in this item that BBK has dyno-tested it in-house and produced solid gains of 15-20 horsepower, depending on the application.
Every BBK H-Pipe is manufactured to directly bolt onto factory headers or any aftermarket shorty headers as well as, of course, BBK shorty headers.
*1979-1985 Mustangs require installation of a double hump crossmember for dual exhaust installation.
