Product Description

Pair of BMR Non-DOM Tubing Rear Non-Adjustable Lower Control Arms with Polyurethane Bushings for all 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, and 2014 Mustangs.

Launching harder, reducing wheel hop, and adding cornering consistency to your 2005-2014 Mustang is easy and affordable with lower control arms from BMR Suspension. Stock stamped steel control arms with soft rubber bushings deflect under load and absorb power instead of transferring it to the tires. BMR’s newest polyurethane, non-adjustable S197 control arms are manufactured from 1x2 inch steel Non-DOM tubing. This design gives you a strong, yet lightweight control arm, which is also an economical option for improved performance.  BMR Suspension’s non-adjustable polyurethane lower control arms are available in Red and Black Hammertone powdercoat for long-lasting good looks.

BMR Suspension designed these to work well in street performance, drag race, and road race applications. The stock control arms flex under heavy cornering loads giving you inconsistent handling characteristics. Couple this with soft bushings that have massive amounts of deflection and you’re left with poor performance. The heavy-duty construction eliminates control arm flex, giving you much better repeatability on the street, starting line, or in the corners. BMR’s polyurethane bushings are designed to be compliant enough to give you a comfortable ride and absorb NVH (Noise Vibration Harshness), while remaining firm enough to stand up to high loads of any performance environment. The bushings easily handle the high compression loads of hard launches and acceleration, yet offer plenty of articulation for great handling.

Features and Benefits:
- Designed to OEM length with OEM rear offset
- High-durometer internally fluted polyurethane greasable bushings
- MIG-welded 1x2-inch square-tube Non-DOM tubing
- Five pounds lighter than stock LCAs
- Designed for street performance, drag race, and road race applications
- Durable Red or Black Hammertone Powdercoat finish
- 1-2 hour installation time
- Proudly designed and Made in the U.S.A.

Two-inch greasable, 95-durometer bushings add a solid, more responsive feel over the stock rubber bushings. BMR’s bushings are internally fluted, which keep grease in the bushing, even under heavy load. These flutes also direct grease to the outer edge of the bushing, keeping the thrust surface lubricated. This efficient lubrication ensures quiet, reliable operation over the life of the bushings.

These are the perfect upgrade for the enthusiast looking to improve performance, while maintaining acceptable NVH levels and ride quality. When performance is a must, rely on BMR Suspension! Available in your choice of either Black Hammertone or Red Powdercoat and proudly made in the U.S.A. Even if the Non-DOM is slightly lower quality, is it still better and sturdier than the stock rear lower control arms that come from the factory?

Asked by: katakonik
Yes, it's definitely going to be much better than stock.

hi what is the difference between the non dom and the dom tubing ie what does dom mean

Asked by: jono
DOM vs Non-DOM is simply the way they're manufactured. Non-DOM is going to be slightly cheaper to make and slightly lower quality, while DOM control arms are better made and higher quality, but also more expensive.

BMR Rear Lower Control Arm Non-Adjustable Non-DOM Tubing With Poly Bushings Pair 2005-2014 Video Transcript
By Bill Tumas: We’re here with the BMR lower control arms fitting all 2005 through 2014 Mustangs.

A good set of lower control arms will get rid of wheel hop and give you much better traction for your ’05 through ’14 Mustang. These non-DOM steel control arms are a great choice when you’re trying to build your Mustang on a budget. They’re available in the red or black hammertone finish and come with greaseable polyurethane bushings. This is the stocked stamped steel control arm that comes in your ’05 through ’14 Mustangs. Actually a very thin center section and uses rubber bushings which makes them very soft. These are nowhere near adequate for the ’05 through ‘10s with 300 horsepower, let alone the ’11 through ’14’s with over 400 horsepower. The BMR’s are much heavier duty and they do a much better job of putting the power to the ground.

BMR’s control arms are made in the U.S.A. and are a great upgrade for your ’05 through 2014 Mustang.
