Borgeson 18" X 3/4"-DD Steel Steering Shaft for 1965-1969 Mustangs with Rack and Pinion Steering.

A 5/8” steering column shaft is 42% weaker than a 3/4” shaft and can be twisted with a 14” steering wheel. That is why all Borgeson steering shafts are at least 3/4" in diameter. "D" shaped along the entire length, this steering shaft can be easily trimmed to any length.

Use Borgeson's steel steering shaft to connect 2 different u-joints on 1965-1969 ididit steering column installations with rack and pinion steering.
