Product Questions

do i need to alter the brake lines @ the master cyl? if so do you have them? i have a 66 mustang manual brakes single cyl master cyl

Asked by: raay
I just put this kit on my 1965 convertible that had the original single master cyl. It eliminates the old proportioning valve mounted on the side of the engine compartment so you have to carefully bend the lines (using a line bending tool) into the valve included in this kit. New lines were not required in my case.

Does this kit have a booster included? It is described as POWER upgrade.

Asked by: crockett00
This is a manual brake conversion, the manufacturer is Master Power.

As I am trying to stay as OE as possible with '68 orginal car. So will this (manual) kit offer considerable performance improvement  and still be easily reversible back 2 to OE drums? Or is the not so reversible power kit needed 2c real improvement?

Asked by: Soundmiami
Yes, this kit is easily reversible back to the stock components. You will see a huge increase in brake performance. Going with a power disc brake version will just make the pedal effort easier.

I have a 1965 manual and converted the front to these discs and the rear to similar discs. If there a brake booster that would work especially well with my car?

Asked by: Tdeekhoff
