Bump Steer Kit Manual Steering V8 1965-1966

Product Description

Bump Steer Kit for all 1965-1966 Mustangs with a V8 Engine and Manual Steering.

There are enough things in this life that we can't control. The steering in your 1965-1966 Mustang should not be one of them. This Bump Steer Kit includes special bushings located between the spindle arm and the tie rod end that will give you the adjustablility needed to correct your car's bump steer problem.

As you drive, the front suspension in your 1965-1966 Mustang with a V8 Engine and Manual Steering will move up and down. Up to 3/8 inch of toe change can be experienced when your suspension is moving through its full range of motion and can cause erratic, uncontrolled steering. Excessive bump steer increases tire wear and makes the vehicle dangerous and more difficult to handle on rough roads. An average of approximately 1/2 inch - 5/8 inch of bushing is needed for normal bump steer correction.

This kit completely eliminates your stock outer tie rod ends by replacing them with new heavy-duty, aircraft-quality spherical rod ends. These upgraded rod ends feature a carbon fiber lined race which is self-lubricating and maintenance free. Also included is a pair of fresh, durable adjusting sleeves that are finished in yellow cadmium plating. Pick up this Bump Steer Kit for all 1965-1966 Mustangs with a V8 engine and manual steering today and you can reclaim the absolute steering control of your Mustang that you were meant to have!
