Ford Mustang Marker & Parking Lights

After Mustang marker & parking lights became required in 1968, the Mustang Marker & Parking Lights have appeared at various locations on the Mustang, especially for the front Mustang marker & parking lights. The rear Mustang marker & parking lights have traditionally stayed pretty similar over the years and are usually red rectangular lamps and/or reflectors that are mounted on the rear quarter panel. CJ Pony Parts offers numerous rear Mustang marker & parking lights, including assemblies, bulbs and trim so owners of classic and newer Mustangs can complete an upgrade or replacement without any hassle.

While front Mustang marker & parking lights became required in 1968, their location was left up to the manufacturer. In the case of the Mustang, these front Mustang marker & parking lights were placed in several different locations over the years, with several different types of functionality. Originally, the front Mustang marker & parking lights were rectangular fixtures placed on the lower portion of the front fender and their only functionality was to glow when the Mustang was the Mustang parking lights and Mustang headlights were on.

However, starting with the Fox Body Mustang, some changes began with the front Mustang marker & parking lights. They were changed to be vertical fixtures during the early Fox Body years, then were integrated into the front Mustang lighting for later Fox Body Mustangs and the entire run of the SN95 Mustang, where the front Mustang marker & parking lights began to flash with the turn signals. However, with the arrival of the newest generation of Mustangs, the front Mustang marker & parking lights were again small, rectangular lights on the lower portion of the front fender. Other Mustang marker & parking lights were mounted below the bumper on many models of Mustang, and integrated with the headlights in other years and were designed to flash with the turn signals.
