Classic Design Concepts Windstop/Windscreen for use with CDC Light Bars on all 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014 Convertible Mustangs.
Cruising in a convertible Mustang is enjoyable but excessive wind noise can put a damper on your fun. Listening to music, talking on your phone and having a conversation with a passenger can be difficult. Not to worry, Classic Design Concepts has the solution to these noise related problems.
Classic Design Concepts, or CDC, has designed a windstop to greatly reduce wind noise and air turbulence while matching the curves of your light bar for a flawless appearance. Windstops, or windscreens, are made of a mesh fabric in an aluminum frame. Mesh reduces turbulence and dramatically cuts wind noise levels by 50%. Extend your top down driving season as the windstop creates a thermal barrier increasing the effectiveness of your climate control settings.
Features and Benefits:
- Greatly Reduces Wind Noise
- Minimizes Air Turbulence in the Cabin
- Matches Curves of CDC Light Bar Perfectly
- Does NOT Limit Seat Travel
- Fits Safely in Trunk When Not in Use
- Includes Protective Storage Bag
*For use with all Classic Design Concepts light bars.
Please Note: Convertible tops can be put up with the windstop installed. Classic Design Concepts made sure to comply with all safety regulations as rearward vision is not impaired.
Unlike other windscreens on the market, CDC mounts their windstop behind the light bar. This gets rid of risking damage to the light bar and limiting your range of seat travel. Installation and removal is simple with adjustable quick-release straps and no modifications are needed. When not in use, you can easily store the windscreen in the trunk with the included protective storage bag.

I have a 2009 GT convertible with a Ford dealer installed (Rousch?) light bar. Will this CDC windscreen fit and work appropriately?
I installed the stylish bar on my 2008 mustang and it does not have the 3rd light. Will this wind screen still fit the same as the light bar install?
I am looking for a 2005 Mustang wind screen with no bar
I got my windscreen a few months ago and I only got the straps that go under the interior trim and not the ones that connect to the child seat anchors. the screen does not say in place and slides back and forth am I missing straps?
I lost the straps with the female end that attach to the seat anchors, can I buy them separately?
Can this be installed without the light bar?

If you happen to own a 1994 through 2014 Mustang Eclipse with a Classic Design Concepts light bar, CDC has the perfect solution with their wind deflector. The CDC wind deflector comes with this carrying case for storage when not using it. It's made of a nice heavy duty aluminum.
It installs very easily into your back seat and will cut down on turbulence by stopping the air from coming back into your interior. It's an added bonus if you live in an area, like we do, where it gets colder sometimes in the year. This will actually keep more heat in the interior and give you a little bit longer convertible season.
The install is actually very simple. This black hook here is going to go to your child safety seat latch. This goes to the bottom of the quarter trim panel. These 2 sit on top of the quarter trim panel. When these are installed, simply pull those straps to tighten it down and put it in place.
Obviously, I'm not going to be able to demonstrate the wind reflector properly, so I grabbed Cassidy from customer service. She's going to take our 2005 Mustang for a ride. We'll show you how it works without it. Then we'll do another ride with the wind deflector installed.
Start by simply laying it across the top here. These may need quite a little bit of adjustment. Just make sure it sits flat. Then you connect them underneath. Strap goes under here to your child seat latch. This ones goes underneath the quarter panel trim. Simply pull them snug. You don't have to over-tighten them. Just make sure it's nice and snug and doesn't move.
Then you flip this up. That's all there is to it. Once you get used to it, it should take you no more than about 30 seconds to install. CDC's wind deflector is a great addition to their classic light bar.
By cutting down the turbulence inside the interior, it makes the car a lot more pleasant to drive. It also means it's a lot quieter inside. Like I said, installation is only around 30 seconds or so, so you'll be back on the road in no time.
