i have a 1987 gt 5.0 convertible 5 speed yes it does get in the way of shifter if u r shifting fast but if u r taking ur time it doesnt bother it but overall its a great addition to my ride and its alot easier to drive with out having to worry about getting a wet lap

I have a 93 2.3 Lx with a 5spd. The cup holder gets in the way of the shifter and will not let shifter stay in 2nd gear.

it fits perfect in my fox body. but if you have 2 cups in it they get in the way of the shifter.

Overall it is a good product. I, however like 20 oz. bottles and this only halds cans or cups. Therefore I returned mine. Very well made, just not what I expected. Hope this helps.

i liked this product a lot fit snug in place and the color matched perfect. Heavy duty construction also so you know it will last. Does not get in the way of the shifter at all.
