Product Questions

Will this kit work for 4 wheel disc brake conversions? If not is there one that you offer?

Asked by: bsch
There is not a 4 wheel disc specific brake line kit due to the many different brake kits available. The installer would have to modify the brake lines to make them work.

Is the correct brake line kit for my 66 mustang? I am putting a front disc conversion kit on it from SSBC that I bought from your shop

Asked by: Guy Hamilton
You will want to use a brake line kit designed for the brakes that originally came on the car since you are using a conversion kit.

Is this the correct replacement brake line item?   I am installing a V8 rear with original drum brakes along with a power front disc brake SSBC kit I purchased from you.

Asked by: Guy Hamilton
It has 4 wheel drums currently but am converting to SSBC front disc. It is a 66 mustang fastback with a 6 but I am doing all the v8 conversion steps with the exception of the engine for now.

I have a 65 coupe inline 6, converted to front disks with standard drum rear and "standard V8 dual exhaust..." Is this the correct brake line set?

Asked by: Greg L
Yes - if you have the V8 style dual exhaust and discs, this is what you want.

I'm converting 4 wheel standard brakes to front power disc brakes and I want to replace the brakes lines. Should I buy this kit or the one's for 4 wheel drum brakes.

Asked by: perrypf145
Buy the kit for where you're ending up - if you're ending up with power disc brakes, you need the power disc brake lines.

Which (stainless steel) brake line kit to use with my '65 k code car that is fitted with an SSBC manual front disc conversion installed with standard rear drums still in the car? The car has a dual master and proportioning valve installed.
