Classic Tube Fuel Line Pump To Fuel Tank 5/16" V8 1965-1966 is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Use install video with caution Use CJ's install video with caution. If you are installing fuel line with brake lines already installed, you'll need to remove the driver's side rear shock and, if you have a standard single exhaust, remove the driver's side muffler mount. Then feed the rear of the new line first (not the front as in video), then do the front. You may also need to loosen the parking brake cable and remove. It's all doable. Also takes a lot of man-handling and gentle re-bending (on your back) to get in place, especially if you don't have a car lift. Be careful not to over-bend and crimp a line! I'm still in process of installing mine. Several hours in. It would be much easier if car was on a lift and underside was bare of brake lines, etc.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Fit I bought this line for my 1965 V8 Convertible and it fit good with minor adjusting. Very glad that I bought pre bent line.

Product Questions

I'm planning to replace the fuel tank, filler pipe, and fuel line in my 1966, 289, fastback. How difficult is it to remove and replace all these. Fuel line size?

Asked by: ER doc
It is not difficult, a lift will make it easier to change the fuel line. The line size is 5/16. Here is the link to a 3/8 fuel line,

How do you tell which side goes to the pump and fuel tank? Do you have an instructions to install it?

Asked by: Hakan
it will only fit 1 way , if you try to install the other way you will have to do a bit of bending to try to get it to fit
