Classic Tube Transmission Cooling Line Original Steel Pair C4 V8 1966 is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from nice well after paying 2day shipping the items were back ordered. So by the time I got them I had to buy a trans oil cooler. So I didn't need the lines. Got an OK to send them back. Sense you wont pay the shipping to return it cost more than the lines are worth. I don't return stuff except if it is defective or dosnt fit. You should really consider who your reliable customers are and maby offer return shipping to them. I will think long and hard before I buy again. Thanks

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Decent for a Replacement. These are a good replacement for your stock steel transmission cooling lines. They were a HUGE pain to install. Getting the lines over the suspension parts, and trying to line these up just right so they screw into the transmission was the hardest part. Engine and tranny were still in the car, and the car was just on jack stands. Honestly, if you dont care about originality, I would go with steel braided lines for this one. It would be way easier to install, plus you don't have to worry about the fitment. Installed on a 1966 289 2b

Product Questions

Do you sell A/T cooler lines for a 1964-65 Ranchero/Falcon with a 289 and a C-4?

Asked by: audio_tim
The 64 Falcon 260 V8 had a two speed Ford automatic transmission, the 65 Falcon 289 V8 used a C4 auto trans. It appears that the lines are the same between the two transmissions. The radiators and chassis are almost identical in engine/transmission mount and position. Owning both a 66 Mustang and 64 Falcon (with a 65, 289), they should work. It might be like any other set of lines where they have to be tweaked, but they all use the same radiator and same basic chassis and configuration.

I purchased these lines (MUT1004O) a while back and finally got around to getting them in place only to find the ends are not the same size as the existing fittings. Do you sell the fittings that match these lines and a V8 C4 trans?

Asked by: DougieFresh
What size are the fittings on the lines you ordered from here. I want to make sure my lines on the car are the same size. Thanks!
