If the C4 automatic transmission in your classic 1967-1970 V8 Mustang doesn’t seem like it is functioning properly it may be overheating. Overheating may be due to bad transmission cooling lines that you can easily replace with this Pair of Classic Tube Original Steel Transmission Cooling Lines from CJ Pony Parts!

This pair of transmission cooling lines come from Classic Tube and are made from the original steel to give your classic Mustang a vintage look and feel. The lines also include the proper fittings and have double flared ends with the proper bends to make installation easy. The transmission cooling lines service the transmission by transferring fluid from the transmission to the radiator for cooling. Making it an important part to make sure that it is working correctly with no leaks or corrosion.

*Made to fit 1967-1970 Mustangs with V8 engines and C4 automatic transmissions only.

There are lots of fluids in your Mustang. From gasoline, engine oil, steering fluid, antifreeze and more, there's lots of liquid moving around your engine bay. Allowing these fluids to do their jobs requires the proper tubing. No one makes more tubes for your Mustang than Classic Tube.

Classic Tube Transmission Cooling Line Original Steel Pair C4 V8 1967-1970 is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect fit These lines fit perfectly on my 67 coupe. FYI: you have to remove the starter and header in order to have fiddle room. Fiddle room is needed because the lines are pre-shaped steel and you DO NOT want to bend or crimp them. By nature, you will have limited space when removing the lines from the transmission but if you find yourself needing to apply heavy force to unscrew the line from the transmission drench the bolts with WD-40. This will help prevent damage to the transmission's threads.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product! Since purchasing these pre-bent cooler lines with fittings to attach to the transmission and oil cooler this product is great!

1969 Mustang Oil Cooler Lines: Are there threaded connections on both ends? In other words, are they complete or do I have to buy any adapters to go with them? Or do I need mounting clips? Thanks

Asked by: SwisherSweets
The transmission end has the fittings installed, the radiator ends are flared for clamping on hoses, the clips are part number http://www.cjponyparts.com/65-73-trans-cooling-line-clips-2-hardware-only-1965-1973/p/F816/
