COMP Cams Magnum 260HR Camshaft Set with a 1200-4500 RPM range for 1985-1995 Mustangs with Carbureted 5.0L Engines.

This hydraulic roller camshaft will fit Ford 5.0 Liter engines from 1985-2001.

Magnum cams generate great high RPM power. The can be used with mild ratio rocker arms and traditional performance valve springs as they are easy on valve train parts. These camshafts like compression ratios of 9.5:1 and higher. A torque converter and gear change is really needed. The larger Magnum cams are a little lazy at low RPMs.

This is the smallest camshaft of the series. It works best with stock engines for street rods or towing. Stock gears and torque converter will work fine as this camshaft produces a smooth idle.
