COMP Cams Magnum 280HR Camshaft Set with a 2200 to 6200 RPM Range for 1985-1995 Mustangs with a Fuel Injected 5.0L Engine.Available with camshaft only, camshaft and lifers, small kit or complete kit.
This hydraulic roller camshaft will fit Ford 5.0 Liter engines from 1985-2001.
Magnum cams generate great high RPM power. The can be used with mild ratio rocker arms and traditional performance valve springs as they are easy on valve train parts. These camshafts like compression ratios of 9.5:1 and higher. A torque converter and gear change is really needed. The larger Magnum cams are a little lazy at low RPMs.
To run this camshaft, you will need injectors, a larger mass air and throttle body, intake, heads, headers, gears, and a 5-speed or 2500 stall torque converter.
