COMP Cams Xtreme Energy XE270HR Camshaft Set with an 1800 to 5800 RPM Range for 1985-1995 Mustangs with 5.0L Engines.

This hydraulic roller camshaft will fit Ford 5.0 Liter engines from 1985-2001.

A best seller due to its excellent all-around performance in street carbureted applications. Increased responsiveness and more area under the curve are delivered due to quicker opening lobe profiles. More vacuum is created which allows a step up in duration for greater performance. COMP Cams roller rockers and matched valve springs work best with this camshaft. Other performance parts are required (intake manifold, headers, etc.) for best performance.

For use with 1.7:1 rockers. This camshaft works well with mild modifications, 3.20-3.73 gears, a larger throttle body and mass air, a good set of cylinder heads, and an intake manifold.
