COMP Cams XFI 248HR-14 Stroker Camshaft with 3200 to 6500 RPM Range for 1985-1995 Mustangs with 347 Cubic Inch (Or Larger) Displacement Engines.

This hydraulic roller camshaft will fit Ford 5.0 Liter engines from 1985-2001.

These camshaft profiles feature the quickest lobe profiles in the Xtreme family and provide a terrific increase in performance. A wider lobe separation is featured without loss of responsiveness. Tuned for EFI applications where extra air flow signal through the carburetor is not required. High lift is featured and aftermarket cylinder heads work the best. The XFI camshafts are designed to be used with COMP Cams Beehive Springs and roller rockers. Other performance parts are needed for real power. Xtreme Energy Cams are better suited for carbureted applications.

This camshaft is for engines that are stroked to 347 Cubic Inches or larger. Serious horsepower and torque are gained in the mid and upper RPMs. Best used with aftermarket heads, intake manifold, throttle body and injectors. A 5-speed or 3500 stall torque converter works best. Computer mods are a must.
