I have a  '70 Mustang Convertible, 302 ci 2 barrel with 3 speed manual transmission.  Will this kit work for a AOD swap?  What else would I need?  Also, if I later decided to swap the 302ci to a 5.0L EFI, what else is needed?

Asked by: KB19203
This kit is for a C4 to AOD swap. You might need quite a bit more. The 302 to 5.0 should be OK though, once you're to an AOD.

I own a 67 Fastback, 351W (400hp), C4, 4:11 traction lock rear end.  Does this kit require a shortened driveshaft?  If so would you recommend the aluminum driveshaft?  Would I need to relocate the shifter?   Thanks!

Asked by: 67FastbackKent
It includes everything you need, and I don't see a driveshaft on the list, so you should be good there. You won't need to relocate the shifter.

Hey! I have a 1970 Mercury Cougar with 351C 2V engine and FMX transmission. What complete kit do you recommend for this?

Asked by: Cyrille
Unfortunately, we don't have anything for FMX to AOD conversions.

I have a manual 3 speed. What else would I need to make this conversion to AOD?

Asked by: cadillacman
This only works when converting a C4 to an AOD.

I have a 72 convertible looking to update to a over - drive. Any help? Thanks

Asked by: Doorslave
Unfortunately, we don't have any AOD conversion kits for 1971-1973 Mustangs. You might be able to try something custom, but we don't have any specific recommendations.

i have a 1973 mustang with a 351 cleaveland want to go to a aod tranny what all is needeb the proper kit with or without the tranny does the driveshaft need to be shortened

Asked by: skidootouring
Unfortunately, we don't offer a complete conversion kit for 1973 Mustangs. We do offer the AOD transmission separately, CJ part # TRANS15, so you can buy that and customize the rest of the installation on your own to fit the needs of your 1973.

I have a block out of a 64 ford fairlane that is smaller than the 302 do you have a bell housing that will mate to this and a t5?

Asked by: Jlm67
Most likely we aren't going to have anything for that application. You can browse our selection of bellhousings, though, and you might find something, but most of our products are designed to fit Windsor engines. http://www.cjponyparts.com/mustang-bellhousings/c/60190040/

Application: M6007-x302D, '70 Ford F100 replacing C4, column shift. Is the flexplate 28 or 50oz, 157 or 164 tooth , What is the stall on the TC? Will I need a separator plate? Will my present 2 bolt starter work

Asked by: Doberman59
At the moment, we don't have a lot of data on what works and what doesn't work with F100s. We plan to add a lot of more F100 parts soon, so we should have a lot greater of an understanding of their fitments, but until we do, it's really impossible to accurately answer your questions.
