Replace your 2001, 2002, 2003 or 2004 convertible Mustang's worn out or damaged driver side door panel cup with this OE style direct replacement. This all new Driver Side Door Panel Cup comes in a dark parchement color that matches the factory parchment interior color option. The insert features accurate locations for the factory power window and door lock switches, as well as the power mirror switch.

Over the years, the clips that hold the door panel cup in place take a lot of wear and tear and are often broken from constant use. If your door panel insert feels loose inside the door and looks a little rough, this new Door Panel Cup is a great way to get your 2001-2004 Mustang's interior looking fresh and new!

Door Panel Cup Dark Parchment Driver Side With Power Convertible 2001-2004 is rated 4.9 out of 5 by 9.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fits perfectly! I bought this item about a month ago, since as many of you are aware I'm sure, the door cup pulls away from the door panel very easily after years of closing and opening the door, sometimes a bit hard. Well, using the video tutorial and a simple philips head screwdriver, I managed to switch out the old broken door cup with the new part and was done within 5 minutes. It looks, feels, and fits wonderfully, as if i just bought the car. I will definitely recommend this site for anyone looking for quality parts at great prices!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Match! Bought this a few weeks ago. Just had a new convertible top and repairs to the driver's seat and this panel installed. My V6 Convertible has about 225K miles and needs some further parts and upgrades. But it drives great and I don't plan to part with the vehicle anytime soon. Being able to find OEM quality replacement parts through CJ Pony is critical to keeping my car fresh; running and looking great!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exact fit for my broken panel I had to exchange this because I ordered the wrong color. Customer service was very cooperative about making the exchange. I got the right part back and it went in with very little trouble. Thanks CJ Pony Parts!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Awesome I bought this for my 2001 Mustang and it fit in just fine. The part on the bottom was a little different so I had to cut a little off of my door panel slot where it slides into. Other than that it fits fine!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fits perfectly I was going to buy the panels for both doors and wish I would have. This part fits better than the original. The top always popped out of the factory door panel. Now everything feels solid.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Fit Excellent replacement for the broken original. 5 minutes of work with a screwdriver to swap the parts out. Saved a bunch of money over the dealer's quote to fix it.

Is this parchment black

Asked by: Taz2004
That is the dark parchment. The interiors on those models were two tone - with dark parchment highlights and a medium parchment everywhere else.

Door Panel Cup Dark Parchment Driver Side With Power Convertible 2001-2004 Video Transcript
By Bill Tumas: If you own an SN95 Mustang you're obviously probably familiar with the common problems that plague the door cups on these cars. Usually one of several things is going to happen. Either it wears out here and looks horrible or when you pull the door cup, it actually separates from the door and pulls away from the door and doesn't close the door properly. This is a very simple problem to fix, and today we're going to show you how using this '01 Bullet.

Door cups are going to be available for your coupe or convertible in all the factory colors, including the black, tan, saddle, as well as the charcoal we'll be installing on 2001 Bullet. The installation is very simple of these OEM products and we're going to show you how to do it.

Typically the only tool you're going to need to install the door cups is going to be a Phillips-head screwdriver. We're going to start by removing it right here. I do want to make a point of mentioning that if this part of your door panel is damaged, then replacing the door cup's probably not going to fix your issue. You may need a whole new door panel. Typically though, these are okay and the door panel's a problem, simply push down here and pull out. Now there's normally a clip back here. This is another common area these things break. In the case of our Bullet, this is where this one's broken off at.

Going to flip the door cup over, remove the two screws holding our window switches in place. Then pop the clip for the mirrors. The nearest switch is held to the door cup by this little push pin. Simply just push this pad in and slide it through. I'm going to lift it back first and then push it through. Take the window switch. It will just pop right into place on our new door cup. We'll install the switch assembly. Plug in the mirrors. At this point, test everything. Make sure the mirrors are working. Make sure that the door lock works. Don't worry about the windows. If the lock works, if the windows weren't before, they're going to work now as well.

Now what you'll want to do is line this clip up with this opening in the back here and then push the door panel cup into place. That's all there is to it. Repeat the process if you're replacing the passenger side, and you're all finished. Replacing the door cups in your SN95 Mustang not only improvements the function of the door but it also looks a hack of a lot better without the door cup falling off. Installation's very simple, like I said. The only tool required is a Phillips-head screwdriver. Take about five minutes per side and you'll be back on the road in no time.
