Product Description

Convertible Top Weatherstrip Kit for all 1965, 1966, 1967 and 1968 Mustang Convertibles.

Putting the top down in your Mustang convertible is great when the weather is nice, and the sun is shining. But just cause you like getting a little sun when you drive doesn’t mean you want the outside to get inside all the time. If you have never replaced the original weatherstrips in your 1965-1968 convertible after nearly 50 years, there is a good chance it needs swapping out. Rubber doesn’t last forever. Weatherstrips have a tendency to crack and become brittle overtime, which can leave the interior of your beloved, convertible pony car to the mercy of the elements. Plus, old rubber just doesn’t look good. CJ Pony Parts has a great, brand-new set of Convertible Top Weatherstrips for your 1965-1968 Mustang Convertible. Get your own 5-piece set today and ensure that the interior of your Mustang convertible remains protected when you put the top up.

Product Questions

On my 66 Mustang, when I replace the convertible top weather-strip with the new kit, wsct1, do I need to replace the hardware also, hw1647 and hw1648? Are these damaged removing the old weather-strip? Do you have a video of this?

Asked by: oldcarman
There is always the possibility of damaging the hardware when removing them. There is no video on installing this kit.
