Dash Trim With Warning Lamp Hole Passenger Side 1972-1973 is rated 2.3 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Dash trim panel As others have indicated, drill out the holes for the A/C vent mounting studs. Also, the metal bezel for the seat belt warning light is not only mounted upside down, it's cast so that the seat belt warning light will only fit one way, upside down! You'll have to reuse your original bezel. Other than that, it looks great! The take-off speed nuts from your existing panel won't fit the new panel. Old ones are too large for new panel.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible Reproduction. Doesn't match original. I purchased this to refresh the interior on my 1972 Mustang Convertible. The color transitions between the black and chrome are sloppy and inconsistent. The mounting tabs are smaller than the original so the self tapping nuts do not work. Aftermarket ones don't work either. Finally - the seatbelt warning light mount is incorrect and it came mounted upside down. The warning light only mounts one way in the bracket and with the bracket mounted correctly (so you can see it) the lamp is upside down. I had to reuse my old warning lamp bracket. Find a replacement elsewhere.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Looks good but had mounting issues. I bought this piece a couple years ago and have finally started putting my car back together. The part does look very good. Issues are that the studs for the 3 self tapping nuts to tighten panel to dash are just a hair to thin so the nuts will not hold at all. I ended up wrapping a little electrical tape around studs which gave just enough thickness so the speed nuts would hold. The other issue is the mounting of the A/C duct register to the new panel. The holes in the mounting tabs are not thick enough for the original screws. I ended up splitting a couple of them before drilling the other two out with a 1/8" drill bit. Lastly the seat belt warning light hole needed to be modified slightly to get the original warning light housing into the new panel. For the amount of money this thing costs there should be no modifications needed. Once installed it does look a lot better than the worn out original piece it replaced.
