This all-aluminum front suspension system features Detroit Speed's extraordinary & well-respected suspension geometry. The overall design allows for 6" of suspension travel for the ultimate upgrade in ride & performance. Its unique cast aluminum cradle and mounting components will fit perfectly in your classic Mustang and also increase its strength-to-weight ratio.

One of the many highlights of this system is Detroit Speed's Speed-LIGN Precision Alignment System that will allow you to easily & accurately make the adjustments to your caster/camber without having to add any additional components. This specific adjuster has a notched outer frame that is fastened to a frame with a slotted frame. This Alignment system allows you to achieve five different settings in increments of 1/16". It's an easy process to accomplish the setting you are looking for.

This system also includes both the upper & lower control arms that have a tubular design with a gloss black finish. The system's rack & pinion steering comes 'Detroit Tuned' so you can just have it put in your Pony and let it go to work. Another attribute that sets this specific suspension system apart is the DSE/JRi single adjustable aluminum coil-over shocks. These shocks have a 'Detroit Tuned' valving for a more pure racing shock in an efficient form. The single adjustable shocks have pre-installed rebound adjustments that you can use with just the simple turn of a knob. This results in an excellent ride quality on the street, as well as improved times on the track.

Another way that this front suspension is incredibly unique is that it allows you to be big tired on the front of your vintage Mustang. You can fit up to P265/35R18 tires on a 9" rim for on earlier models and up to P295/35R18 tires on a 10.5" rim for later models. These sized tired would be fantastic for your rear wheels, but for your front? That's just incredible. You'll be able to truly get a race looking & performance. This suspension system also integrates a splined-style anti-roll bar that comes with a satin black finish. It will also utilize aluminum uprights as well as hub packs that come with a Ford 5" x 4-1/2" bolt pattern.

Detroit Speed's unique front suspension system retains the stock frame rails as well as the inner fenders so it will only require a small amount of fabrication when you install it. Detroit Speed also includes a detailed DVD to help with your installation.

Please Note: This suspension system requires you to use at least 17" wheels that require a minimum inside wheel diameter of 16.25".

No. Other than that, all of the suspension is the same on right hand drive applications.

You would need a rear sump oil pan and pick up tube for this to work and fabrication of motor mounts.

Will this suspension work with a front sump oil pan. I have a 390 FE Cobra motor in my '67 Mustang Fasrback. Not intrested in changing motors, or my Cobra aluminum deep front sump oil pan
