These LED light bulbs are a direct fit replacement for your factory bulbs and are significantly brighter and put out a nice bright white, rather than a yellow light. These LED bulbs are going to be super easy to install and your rear dome light takes 3.
To get to the LED bulbs, we have to remove this plastic cover. You can probably take it off without any tools, but I'm going to be using a plastic pry bar just to make it a little easier. You can now remove the bulbs. They're as easy as just getting your finger up in there and pulling them out. Now we can put the LEDs in. Grab your new LED bulb and make sure when you install it, the LEDs are facing down. Then just pop it into the retaining clips.
You'll notice the light is kind of loose and it can wiggle around a little bit. It can make the turn off and on. What we're going to do to fix that is pull the bulb out, grab a set of needle nose pliers and pinch these retaining clips to make them a little tighter. Then we're going to reinstall the bulb. Now it's much tighter. It's much tighter and now it doesn't flicker. We're going to do that to the other 2.
Now you'll notice the LED is in, but it's not working. If you run into this problem, simply pull the LED out, flip it around 180 degrees, and reinstall it. Reinstall the cover and your installation's finished.
Our LED dome lights are installed. They look great. They're super bright. Installation should take you a couple of minutes and before you know it, you'll be heading down the road.
