Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good fit, fairly easy to install Replaced my damaged drip rail with these. I was kinda worried taking the old ones off since I have never replaced a trim piece like this before. They came off pretty easy with a can opener that I taped up to not scratch the paint. New ones are a little tricky to get lined up before you start to snap them on, may need an extra set of hands to prevent paint scratches. You can use your palm to snap them down on or I used a rubber mallet to tap them in place.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from aftermarket woo's Would not recommend this product! Cheap crome, and was to narrow to fit drip rail, ended up using the old until I can find something better,

Rated 1 out of 5 by from terrible fit The moldings look great, but the curves were not even close. The material seems thicker than the originals and this did not allow them to curve with the car. After an hour and two people trying to get them to fit, they were more beat up than the originals. Could never get the corners to snap down. I grabbed the originals and in less than a minute they snapped right back on. I love CJ's but do not waste your money. Restore the originals any way you can. Some people got them to work, but I could not.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Replacement As far as repopped chrome trim goes, the rails arrived in excellent condition. The install was in line with what you would expect... slow and steady wins the race.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fit just like the originals I was pleasantly surprised with the fitment of these aftermarket replacements.
Date published: 2015-06-12
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Driver side improperly manufactured After installing the passenger side without a problem I found the driver side was a mismatch. From the front to the bend at the rear side of the door was perfect, but the radius of the last bend was way off. Instead of running down the drip rail it angled toward the rear of the car. No fix.

Are the drip railings easy to install myself or do I need to take it to a body shop? I plan on having the vinyl top replaced also.

Asked by: CarlaB
They can be a bit tricky to install without damaging them, you need a very soft mallet to get them seated on the drip rail.

No, we actually recently got out of the service business. We're recommending InTune Autoworks, which is practically across the street from us.
