Ford Performance Driveshaft Heavy-Duty Aluminum V8 1979-1995/V6 1979-2004 is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lite and powerfull Got this one last week for my 2002 automatic 6v.Unfortunately the yoke wasn't the right outer diameter mine is a 1.6 and the one that came 1.5 so had to reuse factory yoke and re-balance the shaft. However after the fact its a great up grade to the old heavy stock. Much less vibration and more power.

Im gonna be upgrading my rear end to a 31 spline. Is there anyway to get this with a 31 spline yoke on it?

Asked by: Dave86
If you are upgrading your rear end to a 31 Spline setup, that has no correlation to the spline count of this driveshaft. The slip yoke that is found on this is 28 Spline and goes into the transmission. If you upgraded your transmission to a T-45 or Tremec 3650 you would need a 31 Spline Slip Yoke. If you currently have a transmission that uses a 28 Spline Slip yoke and you are just replacing your rear differential and axles to upgrade to 31 Spline, this will work for you.

I have a 1988 mustang with a 460 and a c-6 transmission with a ford 9" rear end . Do you have a drive shaft to fit that ?

Asked by: 3 mustang man
Unfortunately, we do NOT have anything listed that will work with that setup. It seems as though you would need a custom driveshaft made for your application.
