Carefully shaped and cut to be a painless replacement installation component, this rear fender apron extension offers an affordable option for a damaged, rusted or missing panel. Dynacorn's extension is made from stamped steel just like the original. The use of heavy gauge steel ensures that this extension piece is a stronger, more durable replacement part for your 1971-1973 Mustang.
The extension fits in place between the driver side rear fender apron and the top of the cowl. It provides a sturdy, stable mounting area for the rear most top fender bolt and the rear hood hinge bolts.
Once the rear fender apron extension is placed in the correct orientation, it is welded into place to safely secure both the rear fender apron and the cowl area.

By Bill Tumas: We're here with Dynacorn's Rear Fender Apron Extension fitting all 1971 through 1973 Mustangs. The rear fender apron extension is going to extend from the actual apron assembly itself back to your cowl. This is a commonly rusted part on the '71 through '73 Mustangs. It was available until recently. Shown here is the left side. These are actually available for both left and right side and are a direct replacement for your factory panels. These fender apron extensions are sold individually and will require welding for installation.
