Product Description

Dynotech 4" One-Piece Aluminum Driveshaft for all 2011, 2012, 2013, and 2014 V6 Mustangs.

Replace the weak factory two-piece driveshaft on your 2011-2014 3.7L V6 Mustang with a high performance one-piece driveshaft from Dynotech. Benefit from improved acceleration, reduced unsprung weight and reduced driveline vibrations with Dynotech's high quality aluminum driveshaft. The Ford driveshaft weighs approximately 32 lbs but Dynotech's lightweight aluminum driveshaft weighs approximately 18 lbs which greatly reduces rotating mass. The RPM rating, or critical speed rating, of these driveshafts is approximately 8,700 RPM.

This Dynotech driveshaft is constructed from 6061 T-6 aluminum with a 0.125'' wall thickness and has a 4" diameter. Universal joints have clearances less than 0.002'' and driveshafts have less than 0.010'' runout. Dynotech balances all driveshafts to less than 0.20 ounces. By balancing driveshafts up to 8,000 RPM, Dynotech guarantees smooth operation throughout the entire RPM range.

Dynotech has over 80 years of experience building driveshafts. The driveshafts are computer welded and high-speed balanced to peak industry standards. All drivshafts are guaranteed to be vibration free and last the life of your vehicle. Dynotech supplies race teams in the NASCAR Sprint Cup and Nationwide Series, Craftsman Truck Series, NHRA, IHRA, SCCA, NSCA, NMRA, APBA, and OSS with driveshafts for their high performance race cars.

Dynotech Driveshaft Aluminum One-Piece 4" V6 2011-2014 Video Transcript
By Bill Tumas: We’re here with Dynatech's lightweight aluminum one-piece drive shaft fitting the 2011 through 2014 V6 Mustang.

This Dynatech four inch diameter drive shaft is a direct replacement for your factory drive shaft, and is made of 6061 T6 aluminum. It weighs 18 pounds versus your factory 32 pound drive shaft, so you're saving a lot of rotating mass as well which is going to free up horsepower. These drive shafts are balanced to 8,000 RPM and work with either a manual or automatic transmission.

Dynatech has been making high performance drive shafts for over 80 years and is a preferred supplier to NASCAR, the NHRA and many other racing sanctioning bodies
