Product Description

Eastwood 11 Ounce Aerosol Can of Hi-Temp Internal Exhaust Coating with an Extension Tube.

Eastwood's High Temperature Internal Exhaust Coating is a truly unique product in that it is designed to reduce underhood temperatures and extend the life of exhaust system components. By coating the inside of exhaust system components, this focused formula traps the heat inside the tubing, thus lowering underhood and undercar temperatures.

Its 1,800 thermal coating properties will extend the life of exhaust system components by preventing rust and corrosion build up from the inside out. And the Eastwood exclusive 2' long, 360 aerosol extension nozzle makes applying the coating a snap. Works with both new and used exhaust systems.

To apply, ensure the component to be coated is clean and free of rust and debris. Attach the 2' long extension nozzle to the aerosol outlet. Insert extension tube in as far in as it can go. Depress button and slowly pull the extension tube out of the exhaust component. Inspect to make sure there is full coverage, only one complete coat is needed. Allow 8-12 hours to fully cure before putting component into service.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great all year round This Hi-temp coating works great inside and out.Used it on my 1986 Olds that's a daily driver all year round and it held up so well I applied it on my 1970 Firebirds Exhaust system. Little tip if your sand blast, don't use glass, use aluminium oxide . The glass stick in the steal and pops out after the headers gets hot.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Love/Hate relationship I've had the product sprayed inside my exhaust pipes for about a week and still no blueing of the pipes which is good and was my reason for trying it out. The chrome is still intact and hopefully lasts some time.. Loving that. The bad thing was using the extension tube because ironically it made it harder to work with. on the first pipe I started spraying with the tube and doing an even spray by pulling out the tube smoothly with the pipe laid flat on a table.. then all of a sudden a waterfall of paint squirted out the other end and dripped all over the outer side of the pipe. I quickly grabbed a rag but taking out the paint out of chrome was a mission and had to buy some polish to try and take off all the residue. Will I use it again? so far absolutely because it does its job and protects from heat pretty well.. but I would not use it for pipes or anything I would have to use the extension tube for. Give it 3 starts because its a great product but had a hard time with my pipes ( maybe its just me)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for external coating as well Although this product is intended to coat the inside of exhaust components, I used it to paint the outside of my exhaust manifold. For an amateur like myself, I found the paint was easy to apply, and the paint appears to be very high quality.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works well This is good stuff. I used it on an exhaust manifold and there is plenty in one can for both the inside and the outside. Just be careful to cover anything nearby that you do not want painted.
