Powder coating is far superior to any other finish available. It's more resistant to chipping, scratches, fading and wear than other finish. The color options are virtually unlimited, with high and low gloss, metallic, and clear finishes available. With the UV resistant qualities of many of the powders, colors stay bright and vibrant longer. Texture selections range from smooth surfaces to a wrinkled or matte finish, plus rough textures designed for hiding surface imperfections.
One 8 ounce bottle of powder covers the same area as 2-3 cans of spray paint. Clean-up is easy, since you can just simply sweep-up the over-sprayed powder.
Powder Coating Benefits:
- Extremely Durable Finish
- Coat and Cure in Under 1 Hour
- Easy to Apply
- Quick Color Changes
- Contains No Environmentally Harmful Solvents
- Original HotCoat Powder Coating Gun with Power Source
- Powder Color Chip Chart
*HotCoat Powder Coating System requires a 5-10 psi compressed air source and a dedicated electric oven (or toaster oven) set at 400F for 20 minutes.
Tech Tip: Fill the bottle no more than 1/4 to 1/3 full and wave the nozzle in a circular motion about 4-6" from the surface for best results.
Please Note: Use a disposable dust mask when handling or applying powder coating. The powder, like common flour, can be explosive when suspended in the air in high concentrations. To minimize any explosion risk, sweep-up immediately after use, do not vacuum the powder from the floor. Cure the powder coated part in a well-ventilated area. The urethane powder coating Eastwood sells produces a very small amount of Isocyanates when the powder flows out of the gun. This usually occurs about 3-5 minutes after the part is placed in the oven to bake. Wear a respirator with fresh cartridges when curing or inspecting flow-out progress. Do not apply powder into a small boxed area.

Rated 4 out of 5 by MGB Fan from It's a good product for the price. I started powder coating my wheels with the HF powder coat gun and it was going well enough until I dropped the control unit off the bench. It didn't work anymore and HF wouldn't honor their warranty because it was beyond the 90 days (Not by much) They offered to sell me another but you can guess what I told them. :) I got this gun and am amazed at the better results. It wastes less powder and I am getting better results now. I bought the original gun and wish I had bought the new dual voltage unit but then for my useage I think I'll do just fine.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Nemesis383 from Needs some slight improvements I recently bought this and out the box its cool and im overall happy but two thing could use some improvements first being the cords need to be longer having to void the warranty to make my cords longer isnt cool but is a necessary thing to have to do. Second os the tip seeds a smaller tip for more direct spraying of the powder alot is wasted with this huge wide spray pattern

Rated 5 out of 5 by Moises from Great first powder coating starter gun! ! I think this is a great powder coating gun for the price. It was just as the product was described. I'm a beginner at powder coating and all of the pieces, parts, and car/motorcycle rims I have powder coated have come out great. My friends don't believe that this powder coating gun is what I'm using to powder coat. thanks Eastwood
