Mustang Egr Valve Reproduction 4.6L 2001-2007
Reproduction EGR Valve for 2001-2007 4.6L Mustangs.
Designed and manufactured to exceed OE part specifications while still being a direct stock replacement.
The EGR valve helps burn fuel more efficiently, by allowing some of the exhaust to flow back into the intake of the combustion chamber. This allows more of the environmentally damaging hydrocarbons within the fuel to be removed. When the engine of the vehicle has reached normal operating temperature, the EGR valve opens, allowing the re-circulation of the gasses. After a few years, your EGR valve may start to leak or just cease operating. In order to keep the engine running smoothly, it will have to be replaced.
