Product Questions

What kind of metal are these made of ?  I want to power coat them and I need to put them into a 400 degree over for 15 minutes. I don't want to purchase something that is going to melt on me! The original casting parts would melt in that kind of heat.

Fender Extension Assembly Passenger Side 1965-1966 Video Transcript
By Bill Tumas: We’re here with replacement headlight bucket assemblies for all 1965 through 1966 Mustangs. The original headlight buckets on your '65 through '66 Mustang are made of pot-metal, which makes them very difficult to repair if damaged. These reproduction assemblies are going to fit just like your original and are going to include your fender extension, your headlight door, new headlight buckets, headlight trim rings, and all necessary installation hardware. While these can be used on a 1964 1/2 Mustang, the shape of the bucket right here is not correct.
