Floor Pan Plug Kit 1965-1970 is rated out of 5 by 3.
Rated 3 out of 5 by 66RcknHrs from Good plugs / wrong screws I bought these quite a while ago. I recently finished all the metal work on my '66 fastback and will not use the supplied screws. They are designated for starter solenoid and voltage regulator. I am a retired machinist and master precision assembler and I totally disagree with the answer provided to another review stating they need to be larger than original. Unless the holes are totally destroyed this should not be done. I will use the provided screws as their use is stated on the bags and will get stainless phillips pahhead screws instead.

I received this kit and the screws are significantly larger then what came out of the car. I have a 70 coupe and these screws are at least twice the size. These screws wont even go through the new covers that came with the kit. ??
The screws should be slightly larger, as they are self-tapping. If they were the same size was the hole, or the same size as original then they wouldn’t be able to grab the sheet metal. They should look similar to what we show in our photos, if not you should contact customer service and send them photos.
