The hood prop rod clip can easily be broken from years of constant use. Replace your broken or missing original prop rod retaining clip with this Ford OEM part.
This plastic clip keeps your hood prop rod secure and eliminates rattling under the hood when driving.
The hood prop rod clip can easily be broken from years of constant use. Replace your broken or missing original prop rod retaining clip with this Ford OEM part.
This plastic clip keeps your hood prop rod secure and eliminates rattling under the hood when driving.
We’re here with a replacement prop rod clip for your '89-'93 Mustang. If you're still running the original prop rod, there’s a good possibility that eventually you're going to break the clip. We're going to use a pick or a small screwdriver to go underneath the original clip, and just pry it upward. And we'll install it with the hook towards the car. Start by pushing that in there, slide it down into place. Just push down to pop it into place. The prop rod clip will keep your prop rod from rattling around under your hood. As we showed you, it's also very easy to install.

Not the clip I needed.
I recieved this clip yesterday but it was for the smaller diameter prop rod. I guess now I will have to order the smaller prop rod.
Wrong Size Rod
I bought this for my 96 Cobra and the old clip was twice the diameter of the new clip. This doesn't work at all!!! Also tried on a 95 V6 same problem. Need to change the product description.
