We are proud to offer you the opportunity to pre-order the new Stage 2 Power Pack Upgrade (P/N: M-9603-M8A) for your U.S. or Canadian 2015-2017 Mustang GT from Ford Performance!

This Ford Performance Stage 2 Power Pack Upgrade Package will give your GT S550 up to 21 peak horsepower, 24 peak lb-ft of torque and up to 40 lb-ft of torque at only 1500rpm. You will notice a huge improvement in your Mustang's off-the-line responsiveness with improved and enhanced throttle response and a performance feel. Automatic transmission calibrations feature an optimized performance shift schedule while manual transmission calibrations feature an exclusive “No-Lift” shift strategy. Tech Tip: For 2017 GT Mustangs manufactured after 9/16, vacuum for the CMCV’s (Charge Motion Control Valves) is no longer picked up from the intake tube. This will require a plug to be used with the unused port/fitting on your new cold air intake tube when installing on all 2017 GT Mustangs built after 9/16 only. The production date on the vehicle (month/year) is located on decal in driver side door jamb.

Ford Performance Power Pack Upgrade Stage 2 GT 2015-2017 is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Power pack 2.... worth the wait!! I preordered this in September and just got it a couple days ago. Installed today. It took me longer than it should have; about 4 hours. That was with the added trip to the hardware store for a 10mm deep socket. The hardest part of the install was removing the symposer tube. Getting to the bolt on the firewall is pretty difficult. The instructions were not great to say the least. LMR has an install video and it's good, but doesn't touch the quality and depth of BIll's install videos. Hopefully he'll do one soon. There's almost no instructions for the flashing of the ECU. Not difficult though. After the install, it sounds great! And looks awesome! It's a must buy if you want more power and want to stay legal.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from More Responsive The car is more responsive, especially on the low end. The sound is much cleaner too without the sound symposer. The 10mm bolt on the firewall was a little difficult to reach. I used a ratcheting wrench with a flex head to get it off. Other than that it was a smooth install. Took about 3.5 hours. Instructions could be better but you'll find your way through it as you get to the various steps.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Throttle Response Just had this installed and have put 1000 miles on the car. Big improvement on the low end is evident immediately with improved throttle response. Surprised me a little at the top end also. Great upgrade over stock!

Product Questions

How much would a dealer normally charge for installation of this product?

Asked by: RhottW
I live in the Seattle area and checked with my Ford dealer on the install. They quoted me about three hours labor so the estimate for me was around $330, give or take an extra $50. Looking at the length of time it has taken private individuals to get this installed the dealer seems pretty much on the money...

Can I use my MacBook with the pro cal tool? And aswell do you have to have internet connection at all time or can I simply just download on my cumputer then just flash my car without having internet connection?

Asked by: Manny562
Yes, you can use your MacBook. You do not need a internet connection all the time, just for the initial download.

2 questions the procal tool is the same as a tune correct? And I want to make sure and that if I purchase this stage 2 power pack and install by a dealer I would still keep my factory warranty correct?

Asked by: Rener03
Yes, the Pro-cal tool offers the same benefits as what some people would call a tune. And yes, if you have it installed by a Ford dealer, you will still have a warranty.

So I am stuck in between power pack 2 and power pack 3...What's your opinion? The max ponies on the 3 gets you to 475-495 but at high rpm like 7100-7500 so basically probably at racing speeds I assume to push it to that.

Asked by: JRaw
If you are going to do it, go big...Power Pack 3 all day!

I have the roush cold air intake installed already will this work with this or will I have to change  to the one it comes with?

Asked by: BLK15GT1
You will have to change to this intake. The calibration is specifically designed to work with the included components.

Will the powerpack install change the sound of the car noticeably?

Asked by: RogerSterling
Yes in the sense that you will now here some more intake noise and the rev limiter gets moved up slightly so you be able to go higher in the rpm range. These two things alone will make the car sound different.

How does this system affect the gas mileage (mpg)? I'm averaging over 20 mpg on my 2015 GT. How much will it decrease, any idea?

Asked by: JFF48
Ford Performance has made no claims regarding gas mileage.
