I'm interested in purchasing the rear seat delete kit for my '17 GT350, but was hoping that it's available for "will-call" pick up in Michigan. I checked with Ford Performance and they suggested that I ask the retailer I want to purchase it through.

First step in the process, obviously remove our factory seat. We'll start by removing the seat bottom. To remove the rear seat, reach under the center here, there's a little tab, just push it in and it'll pop right up. Now for the back seat rest, we're going to start with the nuts on each side. Now release the seat, pick that up and then slide it off the center. Both sides out now we can move on to the middle bracket. Since we're removing the back seat we don't need the seat belt either so we're going to remove those. To get the rest of the seat belt out we got to remove the plastic quarter trim panels. We're going to start in the front by removing the dorsal plate. To remove the dorsal plate they lift up from the bottom, the little clip off and we're going to start pulling the panel off, it's all held on by clips.
Now you're going to remove the top of the seat belt. With everything out the way we can get access to the packing tray and underneath we're going to remove these two torque screws to remove the factory brackets. With those out of the way, the last step for removal is to remove the seat cushion brackets on both sides. With the backseat out you're going to reinstall the side panels and the package tray. Now we're ready to begin the installation itself. Ford performance provides these bolts, they're going to go in these holes where the brackets with just removed. Ford provides these spacers that make sure the seat doesn't move around. They're going to stick to the floor so what we're going to do is take a little rubbing alcohol first to make sure we got a nice clean surface. Remove the adhesive and stick it down.
The rear seat delete will require us to drill two holes in the partial shelf that access to the bolt holes from the bolts that were removed earlier for the rear seat latches. What we're going to do now put the seat delete in the car, figure out where it's going to sit so we can drill those holes. The bottom section of seat is held in by the supplied push pin, it's going to be a tight fit, put that in, that'll get everything lined up and we can punch the holes in the back. Tailoring should get it lined up, it's going to fit one way, then drill through the package tray. I'm going to use the supplies bolts, go through and thread it in. Now with everything bolted up the last part of the installation install the supplied covers for the seat belt latches.
