Product Description

Ford Performance Engine Control Pack for 2.0L EcoBoost Engines Equipped with a Manual Transmission.

Planning a custom build using Ford Performance's 2.0L EcoBoost crate engine with a manual transmission? If so, then this complete engine control pack from Ford Performance is a must have for taking the complexity and confusion out of correctly wiring your new 252 horsepower 2.0L EcoBoost crate engine.

Engine Control Pack Includes:
- Control Pack Harness with OBD-II Diagnostic Port
- PCM with Ford Performance Calibrations
- Electronic Throttle Control Accelerator Pedal
- Power Distribution Module and Oxygen Sensor
- Set of 4 Ford Performance Cold Spark Plugs (M1240520T)

This engine control pack from Ford Performance is specifically designed with a unique harness to run Ford Performance's 2.0L EcoBoost crate engine (M600720T) with a manual transmission in a custom built vehicle. The harness comes with an OBD-II diagnostic port to allow for vehicle calibration upload and problem diagnosis.

Ford Performance's PCM with a custom Ford Performance performance calibration does require a return type fuel system. It will not work with a return-less style fuel system. The electronic throttle control gas pedal is included in the control pack to eliminate throttle cable routing problems. A set of four cold type spark plugs from Ford Performance are included to accommodate for the performance calibration.

Please Note: The installation of this PCM in a 2013-2014 Focus ST will result in a no-start condition.

*This engine control pack is for use with a manual transmission only.

Product Questions

Is the computer control pack and/or anything else still required if the ST engine's transplanted into a 2015 focus with 6 speed manual (1.0 ecoboost)? How straightforward would thatbe for a dealership, any modifications required, trouble they'd run into?

Asked by: Staying focused
The control pack is designed to be a plug and play install. The only issue that may come up is that factory transmission. It may not share the same bolt pattern or you may have to run a different flywheel and clutch combination to get the ST engine in there correctly.

I plan to fit this engine to replace the two-litre Ecotec GDI engine (M-6007-20TIVCT) fitted in my 2014 Morgan Plus 4. Are there connections on your M-6017-20T control pack for electronic dashboard instruments etc?

Asked by: Tungje
Ford has not provided outputs for gauges in the control pack.

If engine is used in a front engine, RWD setup, what bellhousing fits?  Does the engine come with a manual flywheel as they always say flywheel/flexplate?  Do you know what PSI fuel pump is needed for an external mount?  Will go into a 1500lb kit car!

Asked by: McGyver
The engine comes with a manual transmission flywheel, you can use the bellhousing from a mazda Miata, You would need a 110L/Hr fuel pump and a regulator set at 55psi.

Hi, I have a 1972 mk1 escort that I want to put a 2. L ecoboost engine in.  I live in England and will proberbly get the engine here but will need the engine control pack. And could you advise on the rear wheel drive gearbox

Asked by: Colin mexico
This is something being discussed on many forums, it looks like the Miata or Ranger transmissions may be a direct fit but I am not 100 percent sure.

Are there any installation instuctions

Asked by: Nick 47
I don't know if any are included in this part. Since it's meant to be used with the 2.0L crate engine, you may be expected to buy this part and incorporate it at the right step in that install process.

Hi, can the OBD2 port be used to tune the PCM with systems such as HP tuner or the cobb accessport to allow turbo upgrades, injector upgrades etc. Cheers
