Ford Racing Manual Transmission Separator Plate for 1979-1995 5.0 Liter Mustangs with Manual Transmissions.
Also known as a block saver plate, this plate is located between the bellhousing and the engine block. The starter index plate positions the starter to ensure proper starter drive to flywheel ring gear alignment.
*Will also fit 1965-1973 Mustangs that are converting to a T-5 transmission using the late model bellhousing.

Overall finish
The overall part was a drop in piece. The only problem I had with it was the basic finish. There was burrs on the holes and some of the holes had drill chatter marks.It took only 5 minutes to clean it up before I installed it.
