Boss 302 Style Strut Tower Brace for 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014 V6 and GT Mustangs and 2012-2013 Boss 302s.

Stiffen the front end of your 2010-2014 Mustang GT or V6 with an original style strut tower brace used on the 2012-2013 Boss 302.

2012-2013 Boss 302 Mustangs came from the factory with this strut tower brace. The brace is a great upgrade for 2010-2014 V6 and GT Mustangs as well. If you are installing a Boss 302 intake manifold (M9424M50BR) on your 2011-2014 GT, this is the strut tower brace for you! The Boss 302 intake is very tall which means this strut tower brace will also clear the stock 2010-2014 GT, Bullitt and V6 intake manifolds as well as the factory 5.0L intake covers.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent STB! For those of you looking for a night and day difference in their Mustang, I would say this does not provide such an experience. It does, however, provide good stability and rigidity in the front end while corner carving and driving hard. I notice a good improvement in handling characteristics as I autocross my car, but for cars that will never see more than the road, the improvements are much more subtle. This STB is sleek and looks great under the hood, and for that reason alone it is worth the money for it. Compared to the much less attractive options there are and many of those are almost double the price, this STB blows the competition away.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Terrific Value for the Money I've put strut tower braces on 4 cars now. I highly recommend you put this on any car, but the benefits to a new car are outstanding. Preventing any unibody flex is a good idea. On a new car it is a great idea, as it will keep more of the original stiffness in the unibody causing the car to maintain a tighter feel over the life of the car. I picked this brace up on sale a few weeks back and I expected it to be a poor mans brace by what I paid for it ... wrong! It's a great unit and at twice the price point it would still be a good value. Even if you only have a daily driver, you will be glad you bought this product.

By Bill Tumas: When upgrading the suspension on their Mustangs, many people overlook chassis stiffening. You can buy the best suspension components money can buy, but if the chassis flexible, they're just not going to get the job done. One of the easiest ways to tighten up your chassis is with the use of a strut tower brace. Today we're going to install this Boss 302 strut tower brace from Ford Racing on a 2013 Gotta Have It Race car. The strut tower brace is going to install to your factory bolt on the top of your strut tower. Features a silver powder coated finish which will be nice and durable, and will fit both Mustang GT and V6. For this installation you're going to need a 3/8 ratchet, 3/8 torque wrench and a 13-mm socket.

Installation of the strut tower brace will be very easy. Simply remove the nuts on the inside of the strut mounts on both sides. Once we remove all four nuts, were going to put the strut tower brace into place. Notice an arrow pointing forward, you want to make sure that faces the front of the car when you install the brace. We're going to place it over the four studs from our stud mounts and reinstall the nuts. Just get them snug, because we are going to torque them down. Now were going to torque all the nuts to 26 ft. /lbs.

The strut tower brace is going to fit all 2010 and up GT's and the V6's. If you have a 20 and up 5 L and upgrading the Boss 302 intake, you want to make sure you get this brace as well, because your factory one is not going to clear. Installation is only going to take you a few minutes; you'll be back on the road in no time.
